If you've never been to Eastern Oregon, you'll find a great variety of outdoor opportunities. There are rodeos on most weekends in the summer, lots of good hiking trails, fishing and camping spots, and lakes for water skiing. Anthony Lakes is very close to Baker City and offers most of these activities.
The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is located just 5 miles east of Baker City. It offers living history presentations, exhibits and multimedia displays that re-create pioneer life on the trail. We hope that you'll have time to enjoy some of these activities while you are here.
