Board Member Feature: Patty Barfield
As we enter a season of gratitude and giving, our organization would like to extend its genuine thanks to our volunteer board members, who lend time, expertise, and enthusiasm to advancing the mission of NEOAHEC. Throughout the rest of 2024, we will be highlighting our extraordinary board members. This week, we are featuring Patty Barfield, Ph.D., PMHNP.
Patty Barfield was a NEOAHEC board member from 2018 to 2024. She is the Campus Associate Dean for the OHSU School of Nursing in La Grande and the Regional Associate Dean for the OHSU Campus for Rural Health.
Patty has a strong belief in the NEOAHEC mission and has been a champion of projects like the distance expansion of the OHSU psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program and the NEOAHEC MedQuest Health Career Exploration camp. Patty has given NEOAHEC the opportunity to let our light shine during her time as a board member. Thank you, Patty!
