There are Many Ways to Get Involved!
We are always looking for more volunteers! NEOAHEC is fueled by the people who give their time to our organization, setting up events, speaking to students, serving on the Board of Directors, and more!
You could serve as a MedQuest camp counselor at any of our three camps in The Dalles, Burns, and La Grande! This is great for undergraduate students who are interested in healthcare and would like some leadership experience.
Another way to help is to allow students to shadow you during our annual MedQuest camps where students go to local hospitals and clinics to shadow healthcare professionals in a large variety of positions.
Preceptors are medical professionals that allow medical students to work under them while obtaining their degree, and Oregon always needs more options!
We would love to feature you in NEO Impacts, where we showcase the participants who have been affected by NEOAHEC programming and the community members who have shaped and inspired us. If you have been involved with NEOAHEC at any point in your career, don't be afraid to check back in with us and give us an update.
If you are feeling generous, you can set up a scholarship or make a donation to any of our pathway programs! The Sara Schumann Memorial MedQuest Scholarship is a great place to start.
