Please join us at MedQuest's 30th Anniversary Celebration in La Grande! This event is a celebration of those who have participated in our programs, a thank you to all the local healthcare organizations that made MedQuest happen, and a chance for those who are interested in rural healthcare to learn more about NEOAHEC.

Since 1991, NEOAHEC has been looking forward to seeing the full cycle of pathway to practice to giving back, and now that NEOAHEC's MedQuest camp is 30 years old, we are finally able to take a look at full picture. There have been so many people who have participated in our programs as students, gone onto health careers, then given back to the organization as a volunteer, preceptor, or board member. Some have even started sending their children to participate, continuing the generational cycle of education, career, and mentorship.

Marti Erice is world-traveling CNA-2 from Pendleton, Oregon who works at Saint Anthony Hospital. Following her participation in the camp, she served as a counselor for seven years. NEOAHEC is proud to have played a part in her journey to rural healthcare. Click here to read more about Marti Erice, and feel free to explore our blog to find other stories of people who have impacted or been impacted by NEOAHEC. There are so many people who, just like Marti, have participated in MedQuest and gone onto healthcare careers in rural Oregon towns. After 30 years, NEOAHEC is overwhelmed by the success of the program and its participants, and we can't wait to take a deeper dive into the careers of Oregon's rural healthcare professionals, all the way from pathway to practice to giving back.

The event will take place during the 2024 Rural MedQuest event. This year's MedQuest participants and current NEOAHEC staff and board members will be there, and all are welcome to join us during this celebration. Guests can expect hors d'oeuvres, a few words about MedQuest and NEOAHEC, and a slideshow of pictures from the last 30 years of programming. Please contact Meredith Lair at mlair@neoahec.org if you have any questions.

Please join us, and forward this invitation to anyone you know who has been a part of our mission.

See you there!
