Register Today! "Oregon Talks Genetics" Focus Groups in Eastern Oregon from Oct. 12th-30th
OHSU’s Community Research Hub and Knight Cancer Institute’s Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR) presents an opportunity for community members across Oregon to share their thoughts and opinions about research, genetic testing and cancers that can be inherited.
How can community members participate?
Oregon residents, aged 18+ are invited to join a 60-90 minute focus group (guided conversation) with 5-10 other people. There are 32 focus groups being conducted between October 12th- November 17th in communities across Oregon. Refreshments will be served.
- Burns: October 12th, 2017 from 5 to 6:30pm. Best Western Rory & Ryan Inn.
- Baker City: October 13th, 2017 from 6 to 7:30pm. Crossroads Carnegie Art Center.
- La Grande: October 14th, 2017 from 10am to 11:30am. Cook Memorial Library in La Grande.
- Pendleton: October 30, 2017 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Pendleton Library.
