Integrated Behavioral Health for Pediatric Populations

First and third Wednesdays of each month, noon - 1 p.m., September 16, 2020 - March 3, 2021

Pediatric clinicians and their teams are cordially invited to participate in the Integrated Behavioral Health for Pediatric Populations ECHO program, sponsored by the Oregon ECHO Network.

The purpose of this 12-session ECHO program is to build the capacity of pediatric care practices with integrated behavioral health clinicians to provide high quality integrated behavioral and developmental health services for younger children and adolescents. Topics may include:

  • Level-Setting: What Does Behavioral Health Clinician Work Look Like?

  • Sleep

  • Mood Disorders

  • Developmental Issues

  • Payment and Billing for Behavioral Health Clinicians

We will select up to 10 primary care teams to participate based on their interest in the program, geographic distribution throughout Oregon, and ability to commit to attend the sessions. Prescribing clinicians (MD, DO, NP, PA) are encouraged to invite up to two other staff members who are in a position to champion change in their organizations, such as nurses, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants, practice managers, and quality improvement specialists.

*Accreditation: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit: OHSU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
