Chronic Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Conditions

Prescribing clinicians and their team members are cordially invited to participate in the Chronic Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Conditions ECHO program, sponsored by the OHSU Department of Pediatrics.

This 12-session ECHO series will address pharmacological and non-pharmacological behavioral health and medical intervention strategies for the following conditions:

  • Metabolic Syndrome

  • Chronic Pain

  • Headaches

  • Concussions

  • Abdominal Pain

  • Constipation

  • No cost Maintenance of Certification (MOC part II) credits in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry and Neurology

  • The opportunity to present your tough cases and receive feedback from a multidisciplinary team of specialists and peers

We will select 15-20 clinical teams to participate. Clinical teams will include at least one prescribing clinician (MD, DO, PA, NP, PMHNP) and up to two other supporting staff, which could include a behavioral health provider, pharmacist, practice manager, quality improvement manager, nurse care manager, or medical assistant. Practices with integrated behavioral health specialists are especially encouraged to apply. Participants will be selected based on their interest, geographic distribution throughout Oregon, and ability to commit to the sessions.

*Accreditation: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit: OHSU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Through the American Board of Medical Specialties (“ABMS”) ongoing commitment to increase access to practice relevant Continuing Certification Activities through the ABMS Continuing Certification Directory, Chronic Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Conditions ECHO has met the requirements as a MOC Part II CME Activity (apply toward general CME requirement) for the following ABMS Member Boards: Family Medicine; Psychiatry and Neurology.

This program is registered for MOC through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
